01 // The Problem

What was difficult, fragmented, or broken?

An independent waste management and roll-off dumpster operator in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex was losing high-ticket residential and contractor bookings to national brokers. The business had no digital booking infrastructure, relied solely on word-of-mouth, and lacked organic local search visibility across high-value adjacent suburbs.

02 // Constraint & Root Cause Analysis

Why the obvious solution wasn't enough

Generic WordPress templates or off-the-shelf Wix sites are bloated, slow on mobile job sites, and break constantly. Furthermore, complex SaaS booking platforms demand steep monthly subscriptions and require non-technical trade operators to navigate convoluted dashboards just to update pricing or tonnage fees.

My Role

Client Partner, Product Designer & Systems Developer
04 // Concrete Deliverables & Implementation

What I Built

  • A high-conversion commercial digital architecture engineered for sub-second mobile loading on construction sites.
  • A decoupled, centralized business data layer (`site-data.js`) empowering the non-technical owner to update pricing, dimensions, and availability without touching code.
  • An interactive ZIP and city delivery availability checker matching user inputs against 48 North Texas municipal coverage territories.
  • Full LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema markup optimizing localized Google Search rankings across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties.
  • Multi-channel lead routing (direct dispatch phone calling, SMS text ordering, and Formspree quote submissions).

05 // Architecture & Methodology

How I Approached It

I focused ruthlessly on buyer intent and operator workflow. A customer renting a dumpster wants to know three things in 5 seconds: What size do I need? How much does it cost? When can you drop it off? I structured the hero flow to answer these questions immediately, while building an admin interface that lets the owner update specs in 30 seconds from his truck.

06 // Agentic Development & AI Safeguards

AI is an instrument, not an authority.

Used agentic workflows to synthesize geographic delivery matrices across 48 DFW cities, validate zip code polygon coverage, generate structured JSON-LD schemas, and perform automated responsive mobile view audits across iPhone and Android viewports.

07 // Engineering Judgment & Tradeoffs

Key Decisions & Tradeoffs

Decision 01

Avoided heavy client-side frameworks in favor of ultra-lean, zero-dependency modern JavaScript, achieving instantaneous load times and zero maintenance overhead.

Decision 02

Built a standalone lightweight `admin.html` dashboard using localStorage and JSON export rather than a paid CMS subscription, saving the client recurring software fees.

08 // Verified Outcome

The Result

Delivered an active commercial acquisition and operations platform routing high-intent customer leads across 48 North Texas municipal coverage territories.
